About Me

Hello my name is Andrew Taam. You've come to this page for some reason...perhaps you want to know a bit about me? Ok, here we go:

I was born and raised in Hong Kong. I moved to the U.S. when I was a teenager, and have been living in the states ever since. I am currently located in Los Angeles.

I built my very first web site in 2001. Since then, I have designed and redesigned numerous web sites. To me, web design is more than pleasing the eye. It can be and should be a functional marketing tool also. I always design with Web Standards, Usability and Conversion Optimization in mind.

I love color, typography, and art in general. I gain inspiration from the world around me. I am also a big music fan. A huge collection of music that I have, covers different music genres. As a child I participated in a singing contest and won second place. Well, that was a long time ago, and singing is something in the past...I guess...

My job experiences were pretty versatile. I have worked in many different fields. I am currently working for the USC Hospital during the day, and design web page layout and programing in my spare time (with passion). My passion in web design has always driving me into seeking ways to improve my work.
